- Provide other examples that exemplify their argument.
- Give examples of possible rebuttals to their argument.
- Ask questions of and evaluate
the reasoning and ideas given in the article:
- What assumptions go into the argument that's made?
- What justifications are given for the argument?
- Do the conclusions follow from the arguments given?
- What other points of view are possible regarding the question?
- Are there related questions that need to be considered?
- Is all the information needed to address the question given in the argument? What else is needed?
- Do you have a viewpoint of your own on the question?
