£  No re-statement of thesis/lack in focus in the conclusion (i.e. the paper does not adequately close around a thesis).

 

Argument:

£  Argument progression/logic between paragraphs needs to be strengthened (e.g. the paper does not logically flow from one paragraph to another).

£  Argument progression/logic within paragraphs needs to be strengthened.

£  Paragraph topic sentences (TS) are regularly missing or are inadequate.

£  Evidence (e.g. quotations, citations, statistics, facts, etc.) and enough quality sources, as appropriate, is not adequately used to support the thesis of the paper.

Prose:
